Mid July

Fishing overall has continued to improve.  A nice group of Albies came through a few days ago and made for a good time. Tarpon fishing remains slow. We are jumping a few fish but having to put our time in and work for the shots we are getting..

Bulls on Parade...

We had a great 4th. with family and friends. It was the first 4th of July I can remember being off. As for the fishing it has been hard to pattern. Tarpon numbers are slowly coming back after the storm.  When the conditions line up we have been whackin' Bull Reds on fly.  Everything else has been off. I predict an awesome rest of the month!

Curt from N. Georgia with a pig.

Miles got this guy on foot. Very cool eat.

Justin from Kentucky with his first redfish.

Jim and Jimmy Barger enjoyed a couple of great days of redfishing.

Welcome to July!

Conditions have been less than ideal with the ton of  yoohoo colored freshwater. Bill Davenport came over from Austin Texas seekin' revenge on the Poon.  He had jumped but never boated a Tarpon on fly. We changed all that..  The fishing was slow but we capitalized on several shots jumping fish and finally boating a great fish. Congrats Bill!
